The writer of Hebrews tells us to motivate each other towards love and good deeds. That is the essence of serving others. God wants us to serve others by loving them and doing good deeds for them. The way Jesus loved people and gave everything for them is our motivation. The people we serve are changed by the love of Jesus, and so are we. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. How do you feel when you hear or read verses in the Bible about serving others, loving others the way you love yourself? (Luke 6:31, 14:12-14; 1 John 3:17) 2. When have you had opportunities to serve others? What were those situations like? How did you respond? Did you think about the spiritual aspect of those opportunities? 3. Have you interacted with any of LifePoint Church's partner ministries in the community? If so, who was it and how did it go? Did you learn anything? Were you challenged/motivated/inspired by it? 4.
