Life has a way of bringing us to testing points…moments that prove our character, the quality of our relationships, and probe the depths of our faith in our Heavenly Father. In those vulnerable moments, the evil one comes along to trap us and destroy our lives. That is why we are asking our Father lead us away from the test, and that, when we are tested, he rescue us from the evil… DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. When have you experienced a season of testing or trial and what was that like for you? How did you experience temptation toward evil during that time? 2. What did you hear this weekend that inspired you, challenged you, or sparked disagreement or further consideration? 3. Read Matthew 4:1-11. How would you describe the temptations that Jesus faced?
